Ok this is what I have done. Drop rear tire pressure to 20-25lbs. Do a very short burn out (no water) just bip the gas to get the dirt and dust off the tires. Then pull up to the line put the truck in neutral rev the engine and let the revs fall all the way down. This builds vacuum for the brakes which will help hold your truck at the line. Then bring the revs up to 1400 the boost gage should read 0 lbs. As the last yellow light lights let off the brake then hit the gas your 13sec ¼ mile awaits.

Personally I don't think lowering the pressure in wide street radials is the best idea for traction. Hasn't worked for me. I got into the 1.8 60's with stock tires on my truck by using normal pressure. Lowering the pressure increased 60' times.

I'll be doing an in-depth racing guide in the Spring NLOC "Weather Report" newsletter. It'll include how-tos and tips and tricks as well as a decent list of venues and events that will cater to trucks.

Later!

Sorry BADASSSVT. Your original posting left me confused about your methods. At any rate, I apologize for upsetting you, which seems pretty easy to do..... Which certainly makes me not want to mention grille colors or cowl screws.............

Sixpipes. Try this....

Hey, you know the "Calvin" guy that you see on the rear windows of almost every car. Put one of those p***ing on a Mustang or Chevy logo. Really would get their attention before they pull up next to you.
I really don't think they know what we have. Ignorance is bliss?
Have fun and play nice.
