Question Magna Flow Mufflers

Maybe I missed the discussion, but can't find any information on using the Magna Flow straight through mufflers. Have any of you tried them? I have read many post on the Flow Master mufflers. Any pros and cons on this subject would be greatly appreciated. This product got my attention because of the lifetime warranty and I plan on keeping my Lightning a long long time:-) Thanks guys and gals .... don't get ballistic if you think the question is bad.

Ron,
I have a friend that works for carsound"magnaflow mufflers" and from what I know they have not made a piece for the lightning. I remember someone saying that they "carsound" is working with them on the development of a piece for the lightning but thats as much as I know. My friend worked for bassani and basically headed the development and manufacturing of bassani before he went to carsound. Bassani uses carsound high flow cats in all of the systems they make!

Sebastian,
Thanks for the insight, but I am not wanting to replace the muffler with a 2 in/2 out. I will have an H pipe made and 2 mufflers for true dual exhaust. How is the performance and sound of a Magna Flow?

Cool

Hi Masterloggie-under the topic exhaust by Paul T on 12-05-99 there was some info on MagnaFlow mufflers. As you can see by my profile I am running a single MagnaFlow, single in dual out. I really like the tone and I am very happy with the performance. I can still here the tunes while blowing down the highway. Good Luck in your search!

Cool

Hey Flats Man -

Everyone in this part of the country talks about Flow Masters. Does Magna Flow make a 2 in 2 out muffler. If I ditch the stock muffler, I want to go with a respected manufacturer, but not something that everyone has. Any help would be appreciated.
