New "mod", turbo club

Well i was going to wait until i got the entire thing done but i'm kinda in a stand still waiting on a couple parts. i was bored tonight so i thought i'd share a couple pics. most everything is tacked up waiting for the tig! Should be done in a couple weeks (if i can get my a$$ out in the garage). The setup is a t76 precision turbo, 44mm wastegate, procharger race BOV, JLP built bottom, stage III heads, and a pretty decent size custom grind turbo cam. Most of the engine and parts in the bay are mock up parts i'm using while the others are getting chromed or coated. Hope you enjoy the pics, it been a fun project.

To start off what its goin in

1 5/8" manifolds tacked up

PART of the cross over pipe, i got the wrong size expansion join in the mail so i'm waiting on the right size to finish up

What are you doing for a intake and fan? And what are your thoughts on location/size of down pipe.

Looks great

This is exactly what I plan to do to my 03 Lightning, as soon as I finish the Gen 1 Turbo install in a couple of weeks.

Post more pics as you progress

intake is going to be an aluminum sheatmetal, fan is going to be a blow through, down pipe is going to be 4" and is going to run down the side of the passanger side header, nothing will run under the truck, our roads are kinda *****ty here and i don't wanna take any chances.

forgot to add a pic of what the intake is going to look like. this is a rough mock up i made so i can get the positioning of the turbo were i want it. finished one will be polished aluminum deleting the stock plenum and s/c case. it stands roughly 7" tall and is approx 6" wide with a 3/4" aluminum plate to fit up to the L. Intake. its rough but serves it purpose until the real one is finished

i have a guy that stocks them, just sold the last set though, good luck finding any, i've checked everywhere and seems like everybody is sold out. if you can weld and do everything yourself you could do it for around 3k....i'm below that due to my lower prices. any questions email me at saleeto01@aol.com
