Incidentally. I just had a $225 order arrive with me in the UK today. And had to pay nearly $80 in taxes when the delivery man arrived. Not happy! So with international shipping I paid an extra third just to get the items over here. So my suitcase idea sounds increasingly better value.

Within a limit of $1000 JDM have suggested ..

SCT programmer w/ 2 tunes
4 lb lower pulley kit
NGK TR6 spark plugs
Oil breather cap
Phenolic spacer kit
2 " rear lowering shackles

Although, I really need an air filter too! I desperately want to here some whine!

Skip the breather and the spacer ...
Get the filter
If need be skip the shacckles as well
my $0.02

I forgot to ask the all important question...

How much power would I expect to gain from these minor modifications?

P.S. Before people start quoting rear wheel figures. Can you tell me what the stock truck gives at the rear wheels?

On my old truck which was a 2000 that made 360 crank HP - I was able to get 400 hp and 500 ft lbs with the mods you listed. I also had Electric fan but doubt that made significant difference. My truck dynoed stock at about 335 hp I think

Newer trucks make 380 hp at the crank

I always thought the stock numbers (380hp/450ft tq) where at the rear wheels?

99-00 made 360/440 at the flywheel
01-04 made 380/450 at the flywheel.

Ford underrates their performance vehicles. The Ford GT is advertised at 550hp at the flywheel, however they have dynoed more than that at the wheels.
