MAF/Computer question- technincal

All right, I would like someone to explain to me why our trucks will not take a dry shot before the MAF and compute it for the extra air. I thought that that what the MAF was for, to compute for the air incoming. I would think that at least 35 shot would be fine. maybe remove some timing also.

I have had multiple LS1's and they all were fine for a 125 dry shot incoming before the MAF so the computer could compute for the added air . the limiting factor with the dry shot was not enough fuel,(injectors). with a wet kit a 150 shot was fine, but that was after the maf. no computer tune was needed with either kits on the LS1's.

They will take it... most people simply prefer not to do it because alot of trucks already have the MAF near pegging.

okay so since I have 60lb injectors already and a MAFia, I should be good to run at least a 35 shot if not a 50 dry shot. shaweet! I will just drop my timing down to 15 degrees max, heck I have a 15 degree street tune already.
