Is this Slippage?

When feeding throttle in a high gear at 40 or so mph and getting a lot of boost (close to 8lbs) everytime at around 3.5k rpms there is a short pause and boost drops (maybe a couple psi) for a split second then picks back up.

Is this belt slippage? or Is this something that has to do with the computer not letting it get past 8psi?

Is there any obvious belt dust under the hood?
I've never had the problem, but a buddy of mine had slipage on his cobra by running a 2.7" upper and there was belt dust all over the pulley...

Little bit of dust dont know if it is from the belt though. I have stock pulleys.

I really have no idea I'm going to change the belt today and see if that fixes it.

Anyone else experience this? Any more ideas

is then when you stomp it from 40 mph or when you go 1/2 or 3/4 throttle?
