My little RC lightning hit a pole in the basement, It was moving pretty fast, it left some witness marks on the body...
I was getting ready to play with it out side, I got dressed (cold in Michigan right now), I get to the door and it looks like a blizzard outside, so I played with it in the basement, it a huge unfinished basement, so the car can easily get to top speed, I was saloming threw the support beams (4 in a row), made the turn after the next one, ran smack into a water pipe...

I got the Lightning and 95 Cobra R for Christmas but have only had time to build the Cobra R. Still have not had it out on the street yet but the idea of having a little remote controlled car of two of my favorite vehicles is pretty cool.

I forgot to tell you about my first experience with my lightning. this IS a true story.I was on my way home in sept. i just picked up my lightning.im sitting at a light with my radio full bore,(radio isnt loud but loud enough to miss this)i suddenly feel my truck sway a little like a big gust of wind.this is 15 minutes after picking up my new lightning.i look behind me and i see two cars completley TOTALED. I almost SH!% MY PANTS. I PULLED OVER AND LOOKED AT MY TRUCK. I HAD A LITTLE SCRAPED PAINT ON THE BUMPER.I went crazy.i almost got arrested. the cop was getting mad at me because i was sitting there with a little scrape, and the other cars were totaled. i sent it to the body shop and $130.00 later iwas on my way again.imagine if i was 10 feet backmore. my truck would of been rearended hard!!!.note, every new truck has been hit within 3 months of having it.6 trucks!!!!! all minor but still that stinks.I bought a new 97 ford (green) within 2 weeks it was in the body shop being painted 1995 blue sapphire (purple) Within 3 weeks somebody pulled out in front of me on a one way and i stuffed them in the door, causing damage to my front and my 4 wheeler smashed into the front of the bed!!!! Thats after waiting 2 months for it to be out of the body shop!
