Hows it going,
How much does liquid glass cost? Do they have a web site?

Thanks,

MRBBQMAN,

I have been using Liquid Glass for years and you hit it "dead center."

Since my Wedgewood Blue is very dark the comparison to your black would be close. I never have used the pre-cleaner but it probably wouldn't hurt to do so. I just wash it clean and "have at it." Easy to use and take off and it lasts longer than anything else I have ever used.

Does an outstanding job on all colors including white. One can will do about 4 complete waxings on out trucks.

It ain't cheap but neither are our vehicles.......

I too have used Liquid Glass for years, and would not use anything else. I did try to buy some of that Zaino that you spoke of to see if there was any difference, but I guess you can't buy it in stores. To date, I have 3 coats of Liquid Glass on my red 99.5, and it looks great.

HTTP://liquidglass.com. Ordered the kit today to try on my new paint on the T-bird. If it works well, then I'll try on the Black Beast.

Thumbs up Liquid Glass on Black Lightning

I suspect the car wash people have been breeding lovebugs, this year was/is incredible. the front/windshield/roof was buggered unmercifully by these bugs. you guys that don't get them, don't know what your missing. anyway, i wanted to clean up the front and strip off the "pam" spray and the rest of the funk on there, i used the liquid glass pre-cleaner and 3 coats of the liquid glass, they named it well, it looks like a thick glass mirror coat on my black truck, don't know how well it would look on the red, pretty good, i would think. the only vehicle i have seen, that would rival this shine, was on a complete Zaino job. sounds like it holds up pretty good too, instructions say to remove liquid glass, use "steel wool & mineral spirits"! if you think your black lightning is a traffic stopper now, slap some of this stuff on her.

I like it, it is a bit pricey, but it does everything it claims it does and I, too, live in area where the love bugs are thicker than molasses. Can't even pull out of the garage w/o killing a couple of million.

It really makes the truck shine, and it is fairly easy to apply (especially with 14 year old muscles, my son's, and his desire to drive the Black Beast).

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and will have a Happy New Year!

The only problem with Liquid Glass on black (I know from using it on a 87 GN and a 95 Vette) is it really shows any blemishes and can be a dust magnet.
