I have had a few kills that i did not think were worthy of posting.

Beat a v6 camero...only needed about 1/2 or 3/4 pedal to pull him. I shut down after i put about 3 or 4 lenghts on him and he did a fly by and got in my lane

Totally emabarrased a 4 door thing (have no idea what it was) but I figured he would want to run me because he had heavy tinted windows and I could hear his base thumping. Ran even with him up to about 50 then punched it and left him. Then we got caught by a light. I had had very little action that night so I said to myself i am going to waste him if he even acts like he wants to run. He took off hard, I laid into and left some rubber (from about a 5 or 10 mile per hour roll) and was at 60 before he shifted from first. Must have been 10 car lengths ahead. Nothing to brag about because he had absolutely nothing under the hood.

I also played with a Dodge ram 1500. After leaving the gym I was headed to Wendys. I saw a Ram 1500 switch lanes a roll up next to me at the light quite abruptly. We took off and I could hear his engine winding out. I got into it just enough to put my whole front end ahead of his. Only needed about 1/2 a pedal to do this. Had to slow down for a red light. Just as we approached the red light it changed and he chirped his tires from a pretty good roll (still not sure how he did that) and cut over in my lane. The driveway for wendys is like 50 feet past the light so i wasnt trying to race him that time. I think it is fun to mess with those Dodge and Chevy trucks.

Of course none of the above were any real competition for the L, so I didn't post any of them. Many others may feel the same way and only post when they beat something worthy.

It seems no one wants to run the L down here in Orlando. Every time I get next to someone who would be competition they simply idle away from the light as if awe struck by the white beast

Seriously, the only thing that even hinted it wanted to run over the last few weeks was one of those S10 "Extreme" mini trucks. He had the requisite garbage can exhaust installed with what sounded like no muffler. He was weaving in and out of traffic making like Mario Andretti on drugs when he sees me coming up from behind. We both were in a continuous right turn lane and he floors it way before he hits the apex of the turn. I'm just cruising though the turn, no excitement while he's sliding the thing sideways with full power oversteer (probably the only way he can get the tires to break loose). I pull up next to him (4 lane road) and he floors it. I never needed 1/2 throttle to keep up but when we got to 60 or so I decided to let the big dog hunt and floored it. Left him so fast I doubt he ever knew what hit him. We get to the next light and he's still making like he wants a race. By now I've had enough of this poser (motorcycle speak for someone who is all show and no go) so I nail it off the light, I got more wheel spin than would be optimal but the effect was dramatic. I was through the intersection before he got 20 feet and the tire smoke (there goes $20) must have made him wonder who turned on the fog machine. Never did see him again since I turned off about a mile down the road.

It's not really a sporting kill, more like shooting ducks in a barrel.

Most back down here also. The last back down was a 98 or 99 WS6 TA, his plate read 4Deater. But have gotten some races. Dodge ram, half dozen 5.0's, my friends Buick GN (tied), another friends 99 SS (lost all but 1 run from dead stop), SHO, 3000 GT. All were clear wins unless noted.

Thumbs up

Gentelmen: When i picked up my Black L I no more then got out of the dealership drive and to the first light when some punk in a lowered v-8 s-10 thought he had a little something for me. He stated to rev up the motor at the light, sounded pretty good, but as a Die Hard Ford guy, I had a different outlook. Light went green, foot went to the floor, bowtie was just a set of lights in the rearview, needless to say miles 3-4 were pretty hard ones, But DAMN it felt good!
