First Time at Milan Dragway

Well, I decided to finally take my L to the track tonight. Was about 70 tonight, track was in so/so conditions. It was nice seeing a few of the guys out there!

I ran my best tonight at 13.14 @ 107. Not that bad considering I was on Street Tires with my spare still on, passenger seat inside with my sub as well in the cab.

My best run broke down as follows:

+.2409 - Reaction
2.1862 - 60 ft
5.6862 - 330 ft
8.5559 - 1/8th et
85.56 - 1/8 mph
13.14 - 1/4 et
107.09 - 1/4

Rich said once I get my 60 ft down and throw my slicks on, I will at least be in mid 12's. Both Rich and Paul told me that I really needed to work on my launch, but that would be fixed once I get my slicks and traction bars. I would like to thank both Rich and Pauly tonight for the excellent advice and being able to bear with my stupid *** questions tonight because I really didnt know what was going on being the first time at a track.

I was soo excited tonight, I never knew how much fun going to the track actually was. I wish I had started my mods earlier in the season because its almost over here in Michigan.

A few of us are planning on heading back up there next friday, by that time I will have my traction bars and slicks and I will be in the 12's! I would love to see some of you guys out there if you can make it up on friday.

So, there is test and tune on Friday nights. Is there a cut-off for bracket racing? What time is that.

newp! I will be back out there on Friday with my Slicks, Traction bars and a couple of other goodies I should have installed by then!

You thinking of heading up there? Would be cool to have some people turn out. If your thinking of coming up, I will grab some extra cones and save ya guys a spot!

Hmmm I wonder how bad my tires will go up in smoke with my F1's on and my 4.10's in back? muah ahahahah

Congrats on the times, they'll get MUCH better, not to worry.

This weekend I have to winterize the pool, but maybe I can sneak out there for a few hours. I think next weekend the future in-laws are coming to check out the new place in New Hudson.

You should have asked Rich to borrow the slicks for a run. (but you really need traction bars before you can run slicks. MILAN won't let you run slicks without some type of bar to prevent the rear axle from twisting (traction bars))
