Does anyone have a list of what parts make a lightning a lightning? I have seen a few postings about installing Lightning parts on an Expedition and think it might worthwhile. Most interested in the Supercharger and upper and lower intake first followed by the intercooler system.

If you check all of the recent magazine articles or Ford material, it is spelled out for you. To be brief, the entire suspension, brakes,rear end , tranny, interior,body kit, wheels, exhaust and yes complete motor are unique to the lightning.

Maybe I should have been more specific in my original request. Does anyone have a parts list with Ford part numbers for all of the Lightning specific parts? Unfortunately the magazine articles aren't precise enough and provide basic info.

Mark, I think I know what you are trying to do. I am looking for the same info. My problem is that I don't know anyone that has a Lightning. So, I have decided to get the shop manuals to try to get the part list that way.

BlueNews.com is saying that there will be an SVT Expedition in 2001 with 380Hp the same output that the new 2001 lightning will have.I'm not sure about all wheel or 4wheel drive. check out www.blueovalnews.com and go to the message board.
