Need predator help
I went to install my new tune and when I didn't have the instructions with me I think I ma have screwed something up.
I plugged in the P and re-wrote a tune. I then hooked the P in to the PC to "get tune" and I can not get any transfer. I have checked the buad rates and the comports. When I plug the P in to the truck and go to Performance tune. It says turn ignition on. It will not let me modify tune. When I go to erase custom tune..it says there is no custome tune to erase. I think I may have messed someting up when I did the re-write in the beggining.
Should I force or place the OEM tune back on and try again. The tune that's on it right now will run me lean at high rpm's, but putting the custom tune back on and not being able to THEN get a custom tune back on will run me even leaner.
Any help would be appreciated and If you have questions or I left someting out please ask.

the same thing happened to me when i downloaded an update from Diablosport.. i now use the SCT Excal.2 - you need to do 1 or 2 things... 1. Contact and possibly send it back to Diablosport and they will have to rewrite the Predator.. or 2. go to someone that does tuning with the Predator and pay to have them re-write a new tune which will probably result in dyno time and more money.. any tune you do you should have dyno tested regardless in my opinion.. if you contact Diablosport, explain to them your situation they will ask you to ship it back to them and in a few days you will have it back with the updated program and it back to normal.. hope this helps..

Go ahead and restore you factory tune to reset the tool. Then you need to get this New Version downloader from Diablo sport here is the link:

this is the new downloader it has the update loader and custom tune loader all in one and is much easier to use.
Use the above downloader to load your custom tune then go to your truck the Preditor will save you factory tune then you and flash your custom tune as is or midify your tune.
