Question Transmission experts

I've had the FTVB in my vehicle for about a year or 15K. After install, the 1-2 shifts were really hard and the others were very crisp. Lately, I noticed that the shifts aren't as hard or crisp as they were initially. The transmission still shifts well but the hard 1-2 shift is gone.

Is this the result of the valve body kind of "breaking in" or is this in the transmission? The transmission has no other modifications and isn't altered in any way with tuning/pcm.

thanks,
TB

Check your transmission, fluid, and have you replace your filter lately?

The fluid and filter have 15K. I checked the level in April and everythying was fine. Will check again this weekend.

Probably time for a freshen up man. Clutches could be getting worn out. Smell and look at the fluid. -Mat-
