Question Rebuildable/Insurance Vehicles

Does anyone know any sites where you can browse for rebuildable, theft recovery, or insurance totalled vehicles for sale?

check the post aobut totaled L's.

also, state farm does employee only auctions. They let valued customers participate on certain terms.

The regional conferance center near where i use to live had a back lot full of everthing from grand caravans, to a lemans paint scheme 04 z06, to work trucks.

just a heads up.

I would love to find a stripped theft recovery 03/04 Cobra. I was gonna go for one but I jumped on it too late and it sold. -Mat-

Sal or anyone else!! I would REALLY watch out on the insurance totals now.since the rita and katrina. All the cars trucks and such will be flood damaged but not with fresh water but with SALT water so you will have major problems later caused by the salt. Also keep this in mind in about 6 months if you wreck your vehicle and the repair shop installs 'used' parts.they might be from a flood car.
I though about getting one till I though more and decided that you can not get all the salt out and that the only thing good on the vehicle would be the tires!Stan

New Orleans was fresh water flooding right? Lake Pontchartrain is a fresh water lake. I know there are a lot of cars near the coast that got it, but the NO cars should be ok.

the lake is brackish, lots of speckled trout, redfish, some shark, and a manatee last month. so there is a lot of salt water feeding into the lake. i cross it twice a day

i think i'd rather a #1 pee car, to a #2 fecal car ( which what was being pumped out into the lake) i heard today that the storms left 350,000 vehicles under #1 or #2 water , some for over a month. so there is going to be a whole lot of used car scamming going on
