Question Breaking the Bolt

Hi fellas...I tried to look back and see if y'all have covered this already but I couldn't find anything. How did you go about breaking in your "L's" when you got them?? How long did you guys wait to put it to the floor and drive them the way that they were meant to be driven. I know you're supposed to wait till you hit 1,000 miles before you tow anything. I just want to treat my "L" right when I get it.

I could not stand it. The first day I was WOT, if only for very short burst. I bet you can't go one day!! I bet if the truth was known, nobody can.

I was told by the dealer that they are broken in at the factory and the belief that you have to wait a few thousand miles is from the old days. I took mine to the track the first time at 3000 miles.

Hi!
This is how I broke-in my Lightning:

I picked it up new on the 28 of April at 11:00 AM and by 4:30 PM that afternoon I passed thru the gates at Milan Dragway and just broke 100 miles on the odometer. Best run that night was 14.14 at 98 mph. It was wild people could not believe that a new Lightning was at the track with the window sticker still on it. I listed all of this at my web site http://mikesmotorsport.virtualave.net

I drove mine home from the dealer for an easy 60 miles. Let my mom take it around the block. She found the floor with the gas pedal and said "I like it".
