Cool Lightning Screen Saver

Well! It is not a Lightning calender but what the heck it is FREE. It's called "Milan Struck By Lightnings" It is composed from photos taken at the Sept.18, 1999 Lightning get-together at Milan Dragway. It is at my web site: http://mikesmotorsport.virtualave.net It consist of 2 zipped files (together they are under 2.5meg unzipped) and all that you need to do is download them and unzip the contents to two diskettes (zip1 to disk1, zip2 to disk2) The installer is built in so it is very simple. You can also direct load from the hard drive. If you like I can create additional Screen Savers, Please just provide me with High Quality images of your Lightnings and I will do the rest. Thanks. Mail to: mikesmotorsport@mediaone.net

Fixed-Thanks.
I thought I was turning into an idiot. Please do not comment!

BABolt, first time I visited your site today; hat's off to you, great job.
The screen saver looks great!
I sent you three of my pics, If you make another screen saver is there anyway you can include mine. Is it difficult to make? I am about to take alot more pics and would like to make one of my own.
BTW, about how much did it cost you to chrome your wheels, I love the way it makes the truck stand out!
Thanks again

Thanks Brad. I have your three photos. If you would like to send me some more, I will made you a screen saver with just your vehicle in it and e-mail it to you. Your call.
The Chrome wheels in the SS are not mine. The ones at my web site are. total cost for 4 wheels and to chrome plus shipping around $1400.00. I did not like the plating on the caps (vacuum process). I now have prototype caps that were done by the right people(nuff said), they look Great.

Cool

BABolt

What is the importance of file size on the photos?

To answer your question the larger file size usually give me better clarity and image quality. Plus when I do a screen saver I like to have full screen fill (thats just me) since I think it gives a better image. That is just my opinion since I am no expert I just like to hack around. Oops! bad choice of words -I like to play around.

Question

Hey BABolt, great SS, Thanks alot. Anyways, who does the Black L with "the hood" belong to? Looks sharp. Anybody know who makes that hood? Have any White L owners out there replaced your hood, if so please post a pic. So far I've only seen Wyldman's black beast, Sixpipes and the one on the SS. thanks. Al P.

SHOCKER
That Black Lightning (that 12 sec. Lightning) belongs to High Risk. That is a cool looking hood too (I like the reflection of the supercharger on the hoods under surface). I know that it is carried by Classic Design Concepts here in Michigan. You could give George (owner) a call at 1-248-624-7997.I am sure he could give you details.

Yo BABolt!

Rad SS dude. I like it a lot. One question though, where's a picture of Beastie? The Black Beast will get her feelings hurt if she's left out. She gets testy when she's miffed......j/k

Good job!

Hey Wyldman!
I've got photos of "Beastie" along with photos of A-Lighting and asdeman's Lightning. Also some nice photos from sixpipes and 99WhiteLight. They are some really nice photos, all I can say is you guys do a nice job shooting pictures of your "babe". Now if I could just entice the rest of the members of this board to send me some photos I could complete this next screen saver. As I stated in another post I intend to call it "America Struck by Lightnings". I will wait a few more days then I will complete the project.
Thanks to everyone that has sent their photos and thank you in advance to those of you that will. Just in case: mikesmotorsport@mediaone.net
