Post your kills!!
After seeing one in action, I am really overwhelmed by this beast SVT calls the Lightning. I am excited about hearing any kills from L owners good or bad.

Beastie got hungry tonight and had to resort to cannabalism to satisfy her hunger.
A white fox body Mustang GT came flying up behind us on Hwy 59 S. and decided he needed to sit right on my bumper when there was ample room to pass safely. I would consider this provocation under the best of circumstances, but my son was with me and I decided to show him a little restraint is possible.
This was accompanied by the "son, use your head, not your foot" speech about driving smart, etc. This moke then starts flashing the lights and dancing a jig, all the while he's so close, I can only see the side scatter from his headlights. I really don't like tailgaters, but was still trying to educate the boy, so I swallowed it and went on at the speed limit (70).
By now Tommy is begging me to nail this turd and I am inclined to agree. So, I pulled out of the center lane into the right lane and let him come up beside me, I looked over and this pimple faced kid leans out of the car and spits on my window, laughs and then his friend (driving) mashes it to the floor and tries to take off.
I just ease into the gas and stay right next to him until we hit 100, there being no traffic around and open road in front of us, I then pounded the arming switch, floored it, and left him in a cloud of stinky N2O exhaust to wonder where I had gone.
I left him like he wasn't even moving. I pulled on him about a half mile and then eased back out of it, all the while cursing myself because this moron had pestered me into a dumb act in front of my nearly driving age son. Tommy was laughing and making rude gestures out the back window and I had to calm him down a bit.
I'm watching Tommy's face and his eyes go wide, and I instinctively floored it again. It's a darn good thing I did, bedause if I hadn't this kid was intent on ramming me from behind, and he nearly did.
The switch was still armed and so I flew out of there in a hurry, got to the next exit and found a sherrif's deputy having dinner at the gas station.
I pulled over and spoke w/the deputy and suggested that a little intervention might be in order. The deputy agreed and took off after him. He returned about 15 minutes later and told me he had seen the car, but lost him in traffic.
He knew who the kid's father was, apparantly this kid is one of the local troublemakers and they (the po-lice) know him well. The deputy assured me they were going to pay him a visit later in the evening and did I want to press charges for vehicular assault?
I declined stating that the only witnesses were me and the boy and that would be his word against ours. No need to make my son a target for this idiot to pick on later. The deputy said he understood, but wasn't happy about it.
I can't say I blame him, but I was young and stupid once upon a time and managed to survive long enough to learn better. I just hope a little compassion isn't wasted on this kid, because if he hurts someone else, it's gonna weigh heavy on me.
Sorry for the novel, but you asked, and I had to get it off my chest. I just hope he doesn't make me sorry later.

yesterday on way to work had a red 71 340 cuda pull up along side of me. We were running around 30, just had that feeling he wanted to see what he could do with this red truck of mine. Well all i can say is he got a good view of the tailgate. At the nextlight he wanted to know what the heck a lightning was. Bet he thinks twice before getting embarressed by a truck again. He was a good sport and his car was real good looking. Always enjoy alittle friendly fun.

Blue Blood,
I have nothing against a little good clean fun, but when people turn nasty and want to start doing harm I draw the line. Sorry if that offends you. I could have pressed charges and opted not to.

Having driven around the Wyldman on more than one occasion I can assure you that he enjoys nothing more than a good match-up. But having encountered my share of seemingly suicidal drivers, there is a point where good competition can turn dangerous. I cant fault Wyldman for alerting the po-po to this madman.
Oh, and I had a real satifying kill last night. There was a BMW 750i (V12) cruising at about 70 in the left lane. I pulled up in the center lane just slightly behind him. He accelerated to about 80 and I held position. That annoyed him and he floored it. That was the last time he saw any part of my truck but the fading tail lights.
