When I installed the 2" drop shackles on my truck. I cut and rewelded 1.5" off my rear end-links.

So-Cal speed shop makes some adjustable endlinks that work.

Shorten the links the same as your drop. 1-1/2" drop = 1-1/2" shorter links. Throw the stockers away. They are crap. Energy Suspension work nicely.

Do you have to cut the end links when lowering? Because mine are still stock and I have a 1-2 drop.

What size

what size end-link in the front should I go with since its a 1-1/2 lower and the stock end-link is 4-5/8 should I go with 3-3/8 or 2-7/8 those are the sizes that energy suspension had listed.

Take the original end links off and rotate the sway bar until the ends are parallel with the control arm. Now measure the distance between them to find what size end link you need. Here is a page with the information needed.

http://www.timskelton.com/lightning/.../end_links.htm

When I installed the Roush kit on my 01, I used the 9-8117 kit in the front and used the SoCal adjustables in the back. Like on the webpage, I still had to drill new mounting holes in the frame.

Hope that helps,
David

Did you notice any difference when you installed the shorter link?

I've got a 1" front and 1.5" (3" shackle) on the rear. Drove it that way for some time too.

I cut 2" out and rewelded my rear endlinks and YES. I did'nt notice it was tighter after I shortened them.
