At this rate they will be rarer than the Gen1's
here is a Red one with only 355 miles... says $11000 on windshield.

I looked at a wrecked 03 cobra that had 38 miles on it. Person who bought it got t-boned going through a intersection on the way home with it.

Your not going to pick that one up? A little elbow grease and it would look good next to your '93.

It is my plan to buy a new truck, I am saving.

But I think the 02 Lghtning I posted would cost me about $3-5000 to get back in excellent condition and would have a salvage title. It would be a perfect race truck platform if theres no frame damage, but for racing my Gen1s been good to me..so it will stay.

I would love to get a Gen2 for towing purposes though, but like many folks here I am waiting on the SVT Adrenalin (atleast to see what they offer, and of course..how fuel prices go)
Its just a shame how many Gen2s are having front end crashes, its telling me they dont stop as good as they take off.

By the end of next year I WILL have a new Tow vehicle for my Gen1, and I hope it will be Red...

Maybe people are just getting too crazy behind the wheel.

I met you one time a few years ago at NED. It was a charity event. I like and respect the gen1's. You've got a great example of one.

That time at NED I was running my '98 with the Magnacharger. I ran my best time that day, but the 5-speed was really hard to work with. All you guys were great with the encouragement that day. I recently picked up an '04 L. That red one wouldn't be a bad deal if it could be got for 10k and 5k of work. It would be cheaper than what I am paying.

I thought about waiting for the SVT Adrenalin too but I think it will be priced over what I'm willing to spend.
