Adjusting Predator Tunes

Hey guys, I finally got my predator working.

I am still learning about this thing, so my questions may seen basic to many of you.

I was wondering if you can adjust the paramaters of the Predator performance tunes, such as the shift firmness, or do you have to use the "stock" tune that comes with the Pred to make adjustments.

Thanks!

You can adjust timing, fuel, tranny, gear ratio, and several other paramaters, and yes you can adjust them on the pulley tunes, and the performance tune. However,I would leave line pressure to your trans at stock.

Thanks 03. I have the FTVB and do plan to leave the line pressure stock. I have only driven the truck a few miles since the reflash, but it seemed like it shifted a little harder than before. I assume the pred leaves the torque reduction turned on.

When you say shift harder, do you mean during normal driving or WOT. If WOT, the predator turns torque reduction off, and unless you have the revised edition, you cannot turn it back on. If you mean during normal driving, it may have shorten the shift duration.
