when adding coolant, what to check? burp system? air bubbles?

when adding coolant, what to check? burp system? air bubbles?

doing the temp sensor, of course it was still too hot and it took me way too long to get the plug back in, so, i got coolant all over the mfing place

not sure how much i actually lost, but i'm going to fill it up, is there anykind of air bubbles or anything to watch out for?

or a special procedure?

The holding tank is also a gasseur tank.
