If you have a Diablo Preditor then restore you factory back tune then reinstall your custom tune. Mine you shift fine with overdrive off but with it on and at full throtle it would act like a manual transmission and you were letting off the gas then flooring it over and over. Doing the above steps fixed it I had a corupt file in my tune some how.

I also had the same problem/fix as georgia-SVT.

These trucks can corrupt the program now and then. Mine was fine for the longest time, and from one day to the next it started acting up.

Do what georgia-SVT recommended if you have a Predator.

Then 1st I'd make sure the chip had not worked it's way out. If you are running a 4# pulley or less pull the chip out and see if it acts normal. Do not do this if you are running a 6#er or higher. CHeck the chip and see if it is fully seated in the ecu sometimes they work loose and cause all kinds of wierd problems.

Does that chip have a switch so you can switch from factory program to chip program? If not you could try taking the chip out to see if it will do the same thing. Is the OD light on the shift handle flashing? If it is get a code reader and see what codes it's throwing. You could also try asking Greg Evans (factorytech) in his forum at NLOC.

Everyone has a different deifinition for slipping so let me have yours. When you shift into OD does it feel like it is shifting into Nuetral>??? RPMs coming up but the truck isn't going anywhere>??? If so, it sounds like it might be time for an overhaul. I take it you have checked your fluid level>??? -Mat-

Sounds like what mine was doing with overdrive on if you drove normal and did n ot got WOT it was fine but as soon as you went WOT wether you were in 1st,2nd or 3rd it would start to jerk like it was a manual transmission and you were flooring it then letting off and flooring it over and over and it would do it until you let off the gas. I'd check the chip and pull it to see if that is it and drive it. If you are running more than 12psi(more than a 4lb pulley) do not go to WOT.

Try it without the chip as long as you are not running more than a 4# lower pulley.
