Post Sal, the 1" gap on your intake?

Sal, I finally got a look at your intake on Joe Lightning's L. I noticed there is approximatley a 1"gap from the end of the filter cone to the fender opening for cold air. Was this deliberate or not, and if so, why?

Thanks, Zonaman

Hey Zonaman, Sal here. There is no specific reason for the gap, that's just where the filter ends. If you wanted to move the filter closer to the fender, you could; there is room on the intake duct to move it down a bit. You don't want to get too close, because the filter will flex a bit, and will scratch the fenderwell if it makes contact.
