Silver bullet install not possible?

I got my mufflers and xpipe on just fine.

Funny thing is it was impossible to get the tailpipe section to slide into the mufflers.

the tailpipes that slide in were off by at least 1/2" I tried bending/taping them togehter closer and even clamped the two to get closer and still wouldn't slide in.

Apparently some bad bending on JDM's part.

Anyone else had this problem? I'll email jdm of course.
In the mean time i'll be going to an exhaust shop to get it bent right and welded in.

Mine was the same way 2 years ago except it was only off about a 1/4 inch. Had to have a muffler shop fix it.

I returned my first set that I got, they never would have fit in the shape they were in. My second set slid right on though.

Mine worked fine with the stock manifolds and midpipes; but, when I went to the Kooks LTs and JDM highflow catted midpipes, they were 3-4 inches too long. I had to take them to a muffler shop to get them to work. I still love 'em though.

i had the same exact problem a month ago... what i did was take a thick tow rope and wrap it around the pipes near the muffler end. then took a long heavy duty screwdriver and cranked the rope tighter and tighter till they slid on the muffler. I didn't think it was possible either i held them together and wasn't even close. the rope worked great though. It's easier with two people but i bet it will work.

I paid 55$ to have a good dude at a car shop to do some prying and bending + welding my joints up.

Not to bad. This catback sounds sooooo much meaner than the magnaflow.
