couple of weird questions
couple of weird questions
O.k....I really wanna lower my L so it sits better on the dubs. I thought of cutting a coil, frpp coils, djm all of them. I really want the Hotchkis TVs system, but I cant afford the 1k price tag after its all said and done. I was thinking of doing just the Hotchkis coils and leafs without the sways and new bilsteins for now, then later getting the rest of the system. I know I'll end up spending a lil more by getting it this way but is there anything else that would be a reason not to do it this way ?? Will my stock shocks be o.k. for the Hotchkis springs without bottoming out ? How will the truck handle set up this way ?? Will I still be able to tow set up this way without the aid of helper bags ?? Will I need anything else after the springs like the endlinks or alignment kit or will the local shop be able to supply those ?? Thanks. Oh and also is there any GPs availible or interest in one for the Hotchkis ?? I remember talking to Marc at LFP and he said he would do one if there was enough people wanting to buy in on it. I forget the prices...
You ask a lot of frigging questions Josh, very easy answers though. Just put the dam thing on a lift and take a torch to the coils, that'll settle it down, schitt the butchers on the other coast do it all the time
Bro on the way home from work there was this F-150 in front of me, red all customed out, lowered to the frigging ground dam near, roll pan, no bumber or Lic Holder, bla bla bla. The a$$hole was swaying from one side of the road to the other, jumping around like a frigging mexican jumping bean I tell ya, then he totally went off the road TWICE and almost ditched it
I was laughing my *** off as I finally found enough road to fly past him before he swayed across the lanes again. The best part was looking at it from the rear, one side was waaaaaaaaaaaay higher than the other and it looked all twisted and fk'd up. Hey maybe he did to ole CA Torch trick
You should try it, hehehehehe

Have you lowered it at all yet? if not just get drop shackles for the rear and a set of lowering springs for the front.
In fact, I have a set of drop springs still in the box if you want them. Let me know mif your interested and we'll work something out.

I have 2" shackles in the back. But I want it lower. I have a deal on a set of hotchkis coils for a good price pending, but I want the rear to match, so I was lookin at the rest of the Hotchkis kit. I just wanna make sure I can tow, and still haul stuff, cuz I do use my truck for truck duties.
