2Bscrewed's custom beer cooler

Here's a few pictures of the custom beer cooler tank I just did for 2bscrewed. He doesn't have a fluid tank under the hood since he installed a modified fuel cell as his inter cooler fluid tank in his bed a few months ago. So he asked me to make him one of my bed mounted inter cooler tanks but with a twist...add on a smaller tank just for the coolant storage so he could see the amount of fluid and make sure the pump was running so here what I did last weekend...
We all have seen 30-40 rwhp increases with ice tanks!

I'll take some pics if I ever have enough time off of work to install it.

Here it is installed. The box itself went in great, getting the pump to prime was a different story. But it's all good now.

Nice job wjm WOW did you use a lot of copper, looks like you may have used the whole 60ft coil too
1/2" no yet, thats massive sq footage of cooling surface you got there, niiiiiiiiiiiiice

Well Rob actually I did use the whole roll...LOL only 50'
It works great as far as cooling goes. I saw 34 rwhp on the dyno with the cooler 3/4 full of ice and got 3 pulls and drove for almost 15 miles and still had cold water in the box. I think it is a great mod for the drag racer value wise...cheap horse power!

If you saw 34 RWHP on a Dyno
Eww eww I want one, and I'll settle for 20
Are those kind of improvements only seen in a Bed Model Intercooler Tank ???
what can one expect with a smaller one under the hood ?
And whats available ?

Shane (2bscrewed) saw about the same thing on the dyno with the fuel cell ice box but you have to have a ton of ice because it melts so quick with the hot water pouring on the ice.
