Hey PFA,
The Downs air intake is a simple design.Basically all it is a flange fabricated to bolt to the mass-air with a straight pipe and a K&N at the other end. But I must admit that now the blower sound is awesome, not to mention that I picked up 2 lbs. of boost. My SVT is now making just over 10lbs. of boost. I will be posting some pics. in the near future,I need to buy myself a scanner. But rumor has it that it`s going to be a Christmas present from a family member....no real use in buying one now.....

Thanks for the info Spiro. It sounds like you better wait on that scanner, you wouldn't want to upset anybody.

Dear Spiro,

Those *are* excellent results, especially given the relatively few mods you've done, congratulations! Sounds like 12's are just around the corner.

SVT,
I noticed a big difference with the air kit, As I stated earlier in this thread I gained 2 lbs. of boost. I believe the main difference was the addition of the Superchip. As far as it being too good to be true, all you need to do is go over to the LS1 site and ask the Bowtie Boys how the L. was running at Cecil County.
