Whooohoo got my alky kit today!

Hi guys how's it going?

Well got my snow performance alcohol/water injectionkit today !
Here's some pics :






But the bad news is.... that i'm in the netherlands right now studying and i will go on vacation to aruba this december,and i'll install the alky kit when i'm in aruba in december and dyno the truck to see how much i've gained with the alky injection

A friend had that on a supercharged S10 and it worked great. Only thing bad I can say is that the resevore started leaking after a few days but they sent him a new one. He found that it was easiest to get Methanol at go cart shops.

One suggestion - ditch the small reservior and run the line directly to your washer tank. There's more capacity in there, and a built in low-fluid level (from what I remember).

The smaller reservior that Snow provides empties QUICK

I have been thinking about buying that kit. How hard is it gonna be to get the truck tuned with it installed. I have heard it was a pain in the @ss.

Mail order tune won't work, unless the tuner has done one already.

Stiegemeier did mine - call their shop and inquire: 636-949-2275.

But methanol and aluminum don't mix well after a while... I wouldnt want methanol sitting in those beautiful looking tanks for too long... unless you coated the inside

Johnathan- how long did it take to arrive? I ordered mine a couple weeks ago and it's a no show. They won't answer me email either.

About 3-4 weeks ik takes a bit long because it got shipped to aruba

Did you call them? It's better to call them
