Ya, That sounds great but $1800. for 28hp?
I think Bassani is getting a little carried away with there monopoly on Lightning exhaust
setups old & new !!!

 

Hey guys, Sal here. As a Bassani dealer, I have to agree that the Bassani stuff is a bit pricey. But considering the fit, quality and performance of Bassani parts, and the fact that pretty much all brands of exhaust parts for the 99 are pricey, the Bassani prices are well worth it. Just a side note- you really don't need the cat back portion for performance gains, because the factory cat back is the least restrictive part of the 99 Lightning. So that could really cut down on costs to only get the headers and cat pipe. Anyone interest in pricing, can checkout the PSP website. The best part is "their words" in the article don't match common sense of their own charts.
It's actualy 28 lb-ft of torque and only 20 horsepower!!!! Still great numbers but it would be nice to get it right. There was another place in the truck'n mag that has it all backwords too. When it comes to performance what's hp and torque between friends.
