Thumbs up

Awesome Chuck!! Love the hood and the smoked fog light covers (I may have to order these in addition to the clear ones). The Bird looks great too. You certainly have good taste when it comes to automotive paint colors. When's the T-bird engine swap gonna happen (or is it already a done deal)?

Thank you all for the kind comments. Makes me glad to have spent the money. When I took my son to school yesterday, every kid in place was breaking thier necks to get a closer look.

Some of Tommy's friends came running up and asked to see under the hood. I popped it for a minute, and the crowd gres from 5 kids (including Tommy) to like 50 kids in a matter of seconds. I had to go, couldn't keep track of that many at once and the Black Beast doesn't like that much fresh meat hangin' around w/o taking a bite or ten.

The motor swap for the Blackbird is pending, my new motor shipped today and should be here in about a week. That's when the Beast becomes my daily driver for while (ain't life tough!?).

I am going to Tulsa Monday to pick up my Challenger and bring her home. I'll have some pics posted the week after next.

Hey Chuck, Sal here. You might want to check out the Dec 99 issue of MM&FF. There is a 90s T-bird (actually a 91 with 97 body parts) in there with a 4V 4.6 and an Eaton blower. The guy built it as a replica of the SVE T-bird, except for the blower.

Sal,

I saw it, and that's what I am shooting for. I am hoping to locate the correct SVT badges for the T-Bird, so I can make my own SVT T-Bird. Ford won't make it and I feel compelled to make my own.

The Mark VIII motor is a '96 line pull, it had some sort of timing problem from the factory, and was removed for R&I. After they figured out what was wrong, they fixed it and the gent that I am purchasing it from obtained it for one of his projects. I am still in need of the '96 OBD-II PCM, the patch harness between the PCM and the engine harness, and the left side manifold (the one w/the cat built in to it). Any suggestions?
Does anyone make headers to fit this engine? the 16v headers won't work, something about exhaust port geometry.

Andre,

Posting pics is easy. Load the pics to a website, any one will do. When you want to post a pic, type your message and then add and as long as everything is typed in properly (case sensitive) the pic will display.

To everyone,
thanks again for all the nice comments on my latest mod. This likely going to be the last I'll be doing for a while (yeah, right!) as I need to concentrate on the Blackbird for a while.

The picture is TOO damn big. Make it smaller so it doesn't screw-up the rest of the thread. LOL--nice pic man, but it is waaayyy big for this UBB format. Hey, will those covers fit on Cobra fog lights?
Thanks, Mad`

Hey Chuck, Sal here. I'll be more than happy to get you any new Ford parts you need at my cost. Just send me a private E-mail with the list of everything you want prices on. Be descriptive, the more info I have the better. Also, you may want to consider switching to a 97-98 style intake, where the throttle body is mounted on the side of the intake (Like a 4V Cobra) instead of the current one that has it in the rear of the intake. Just makes it much easier to fabricate up an intake set up. I did a custom Vortech S-trim blower on a 98 Mark 8 LSC. It required A LOT of custom fabrication on my part, including making a custom intake duct from the blower outlet to the throttle body. But if it had been the earlier style intake, it would have required WAY more fabrication...

Mad,

Sorry about the size, but I forgot to downsize it before I it went up. I'll remember in the future, Ipromise. BTW, yes, the covers will fit Mustang factory 4.5" foglights, that's what they were made for originally. If you want some, email me off-line and i can set you up. I just got in 5 clear and 5 smoke sets.

Sal,

As always, I am grateful for your counsel and help. I will get the list together and send it out to you soon. I wanted to discuss some of the other mods to the motor that you would suggest. The intake one was a gem.
