Unhappy How much is my L worth?

Hi everyone..

I have been away from this board for a while ...I was stationed in Iraq all that time and I am going back soon...I am selling my L because I wont be enjoying the truck at all...I came here to ask you how much a 2004 L with 6k would sell for?....it has headers and exhaust but I know I am not getting anything for the mods. People are giving me around 25000 does that sound right?...is that ballpark?
Thanks for help

Waz,
You're talking private sale, right? 25k is a fair price but the market may be tight due to fears over gas prices. If you can wait for the right buyer you should be able to get your price.

Thanks for your service.

$25k sounds about right. Remember it's two years old now so that is really not too much of a hit on depreciation. Best of luck and thanks for serving.

Hey man, as a fellow service man overseas, you know I respect what you've gone through. I wish you could clarify why you won't be able to enjoy your truck. They only reasons I can think of would not be good at all So I hope its not what I am thinking. I know I dream of my truck every night and can't wait till I get back to it.

The key with selling Ls (and any car) is being able to wait for the right buyer. If you are asking for 25k dont sell it for 23 just cause someone offered it. If you can sit on it, do it! Best of luck, and hope everything works out!

Thanks everyone..

31charlie, thanks man, and I am there for the good purpose only, to serve my country.

unclemole, yes it is a private sale.

its just that my stay will be extended and the L will be a financial burden.

Too bad I just bought a set of fresh slicks and wheels from JDM

but anyway, its all good, I will be following you guys closely though

I paid 27.5 for my 2003 in May, it had 2500 miles and the basic bolt ons)pulley, intake, predator, and a triple gauge pod.

so you are in the area, might be able to get 26 or 27 if you find a L freak like me.

Good luck over there bro!!!
