hey guys this weekend was an "appearence" upgrade weekend. On Sat I installed the new corner lenses (look great) then on Sun I painted the calipers (look great). I chose to go with Ford Red high temp engine color along with a few clear coats. that process was very loooong! most of the time was just spent masking off the parts that werent suppose to get piant, but very well worth the time! Anyways just to let you guys know I met with Joelightning this past Fri @ Firebird raceway & ran 3 laps. I accidently threw away the time slips so i dont remeber all 3 run #'s but the best was my last trip down the old' 1320

temp that day was a steamy 95 something, & I didnt get to check the temp @ the track but probably high 70's when we ran it (the Lightning definatly doesnt like heat). This week I should get Sals' Filter. I will soon report back on that. By then the weather should be a little more ideal for racing (hopefully in the 60's) so probably wont be a good comparison on the imporvment.
Also looking to hear some good road-kill stories from you all, even if its against a yugo, I know there has to be some!!!
Also what do you guys think about a license plate QUIKBOLT ???
