Lightning 1 / Ferrari 0

Lightning 1 / Ferrari 0

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Race a Ferrari this weekend.

It was a blue spider on the meadowbrook. It was either the slowest Ferrari on the road or the crappiest driver on the road.

Coming home from Sears, took advantage of the sales and bought myself an 18 drawer tool chest!!! (1st gift for my new garage). Heading south just passing the ssp. There is this blue Ferrari drop top infront of me, almost matched my paint perfectly. He moves over so I pull up next to and check out the ride, he looks over and smiles and hits it. I do the same and put one full truck on him and stayed in front all the way to about 125 from a 55-60mph roll. We did it once more and same result. Not bad for a 5000lbs pickup with 100lbs of tool boxes and 22 inch rims. Got off merrick road and so did he. A few lights up on atlantic he pulls up next to me and gave me a compliment, “holy crap that moves”, I said, you were not really racing me where you? He said, “well my foot was on the floor, u decide”

I say that is a kill for me.

So far the hit list is

Carrera 4

Ferrari

04 Porsche 911TT (called it a tie, in my old truck)

03 vette

Just the basic bolt ons, 4lb pulley, 12 inch cone filter, bassani catback, predator with a PSP top secret Ferrari killa tune

that is why i am surprised to was hanging with him, not like I have a 10 second truck. I would be lucky if it ran a low 13 with the weight and rims. I just think pretty boy was scared of the sound of American Muscle!

Nice kill! Those metal gated shifters are hard to use and it probably would have been a better race if he could drive it. Was it a F355 or a 412?

If it was a 355 or newer he must not have down shifted or not down shifted far enough. If it was a 348 you would have walked him regardless. With a skilled pilot the Fearri should have been screaming as loud as your S/C. Still fun when you can show your tail lights to those that think they are invincible.

yeah, i am not sure, if i saw a pic i could point it out.

it has the side scoop with a bunch of lines running parallel into the scoop if i am explaining it correctly. It was definitly not a 2005, it was a few years old, i would say late 90's maybe early 2000 model...still not really sure.
working on getting my wallet up to that status

Save your money. You will have a buttload more fun in your L. Ferrari = every 15k miles(max) clutch replacement for $5k. You can pick up the old 308GTS cheap but the cost to maintain is rediculous.
