Custom Tunes

Hello !

I would like to install my 4# lower pulley and NGK6 soon.
I know there are many companys doing a custom tune to the Predator or the SCT Xcal.

For first I was thinking about going to my local custom tuner (he does the tune on 3 of my last cars) because he knows how to tune for high speeds on the Autobahn. But they donīt have a dyno and they have never seen a Lightning.

But now I am thinking about getting a Predator or SCT with a Custom tune because i know you guys all are happy with them.
I donīt know exactly, but I think I will need different tune for the Autobahn (140mph++) as for the US Highway.

I would like to get the optimum not the maximum.

I donīt like to send all of the companys a mail and ask them for their tune.
Please let me know your experiences with custom tuners.

I know RWTD is only doing this business. Should this be my favorite ?

LPF, Troyer, JLP, PSP, and so on

Please let me know your opinions. If you donīt like to write down here eMail would be great also !!!

info@mad-medien.de

I donīt have a wideband commander.
There is no dyno around I know from.

Thank you,

André

Andre, my truck is tuned by Sal at PSP, and I'm very happy with the results.

It would be in your best interest to get a WBC, especially doing those high speed runs. The WBC will warn you if you're dangerously lean.

Mine is dyno tuned by sal at PSP. He does both SCT and diablo tunes so whichever system you chose he can tune you for either

Andre,
there is a reason I drove 3 days (yes 3 days through a hurricane) last summer through a hurricane to have SAL at PSP tune my truck.

Andre, if you decide on PSP, be patient. Sometimes Sal is so busy, that he's slow to answer emails.

IMO I would use PSP also...he did a GREAT job on my L convertion...if you would go to the "Programing & chips" all you would get for a answer is one vendor...do your research in the L section and get a good tuner for your truck
