definately metallic silver over just plain white.

and paint the vertical bars in that grille black! looks like the truck has orange teeth when you can see the vertical bars instead of just the horizontal bars

its different though with the grilles painted. i kinda like it

 

Im thinking of doin something similar with the hood on my sonic blue. Instead of orange , Im thinkinking of a silver close same color as my stock wheels on just he cowl part only as a set of racing stripes instead of a solid center section. The white pinstripe would look good but I just dont get the orange grilles but thats just me.

 

Paint the grill black and in the middle do SVT or LIGHTNING in Orange. It'll match the hood and be a nice accent.

Heres a better shot. Im after a different look, similar to a 69 Chevelle muscle car. Clean but loud. Looks a lot better in person. Ill play around with it some more later, Im just happy to be running once more and the whole front end paint job was done as a huge favor to me. And since I almost lost control of her into some parked cars while testing last week, Im real happy to be taking these pics.

 

I like the orange grills. I would keep it that way with no emblem. To me the grill should never be the same color as the truck. With the black grills it will be to much for the orange and the orange emblem would not be enough to help offset the hood. The truck looks real sharp
