part number?

If it'll fit in the Fan shroud, it'll work.

I would use 2 fans and not 1. The one fan will not be enough to properly cool your truck.

The one fan set up will indeed be adequate! I got mine 2 years ago from Outrageous Performance, (I know bad word here) and I have never had an overheating issue here in Hotlanta! I understood from Tommie at the time that the fans he used were actually from a late model Mustang and indeed it looks very similiar to the one in my 98 GT. You will want to change your t/stat to a 160 or 170 at the same time....I chose the 170myself. All in all a worthwhile mod, however, don't expect much if any fuel savings. Saturday on Spike TV, the Sportscar Revolution program did a dyno on a L with just an efan and Cobra waterpump and it produced 20hp. You will want to forego the water pump though as the stock one is good.

This the fan I have, I made a mistake it is the one off the 94 and up cars. It is the SN95 fan. I was using this fan on my 87 mustang but Have junked the car due to to many problems. But I kept this fan and would like to use it. This fan has worked great with my mustang and its 331 motor never had any overheating issues with it. Plus I do not have any major bolt ons to my truck. Motor is pretty much stock. No pulley or chips.
