my first time at the track
so i took my 2000 L down to the strip lastnight for the all night street drags. i had two good runs. and the last 3 i couldnt hook-up good. here are my numbers and mods. i think it can do better though. ANY TIPS?

60' - 1.92
1/8 - 8.621 @81.05 mph
1/4 - 13.538 @99.96 mph
Mods: cut air box with k&n and a 90mm off a 2001, 4# lower, FTVB, Bassani BX catback, RWTD 17 degree tune. with the toyo proxe s/t's on. ive got a couple vids. one is of me vs a V-Tech Civic and another is vs an Acura. lemme know if anyone wants to me to post em.

slicks and traction bars and driveshaft loop for safety.
(your traction issues will be a thing of the past)
Also, you may consider 26" tires since your running the stock 3.55 gear. Once you make more power up the tire size to 28"

i was thinking the same thing: slicks and traction bars. but i didnt think i had enought power to justify it. i know traction bars arent bad but what would a a set of M/T's on the rim cost me? how many passes will i get out of em? and last whats the prefered size for our beasts?
