A.R.E. has a "spoiler option" for their fiberglass tonneau cover. It is a twin pedestal design that can come prepainted from their factory. It is approximately $250 on top of the price of the tonneau.

For a hard tonneau cover look in the Truckin mag. Innovation Industries make a hard cover with a spoiler on it that looks real cool look at www.inn-fiberglass.com

 

Hey Scott,

I was just flipping through The January 2000 issue of Sport Truck. On page 78 they have an article on a spoiler that attaches to the tailgate. It looks like all you do is replace the protective grey plastic top piece on the tailgate with this spoiler. They say that it will work with all tonneau covers. The name of the manufacturer is Classic Design Concepts (248) 624-7997. With this spoiler you would not have to replace the soft tonneau cover. I hope this helps.

Anybody use a Roll n Lock cover? I'm trying to decide between soft tonneau or roll n lock. I like the security of the roll n lock, but don't know if the extra weight makes a big difference, which is why I'm still considering a soft tonneau. Definitely don't want a fiberglass, they are a pain in the *** to remove and I take my dogs in the back when I have a chance.

The latest issue of Truck Trends had an article on the new Harley-Davidson F-150...it has a hard tonneau that has a small spoiler on the back edge. Looks pretty neat. This tonneau is supposed to be offered by Ford as an aftermarket item. No idea of the cost or when it will be available.

I sent an email to Ford Owner Connection to find out more about the HD F150 Tanneau cover. Here is their response:

After researching this request for you, we have determined that the 1999
F-Series vehicles only came with an option for a soft tonneau cover. In
order to verify if a 2000 Harley-Davidson Hard tonneau will fit on your
vehicle, we would have to refer you to one of your local dealers,
because that information is not available to us at this time.
