Post 2 strikes

Twice, in two weeks, I've been pulled over for speeding. The first time was at a light, I accelerated at probably 75% throttle and was doing 65 in a 40 mph zone. The cop followed me all the way to my destination w/out the lights, stopped, stared at my truck in awe, gave a nod, and drove away!

The second time was entering the freeway from the on-ramp. I was showing off to a passenger and entered the freeway already at 85mph. The highway patrol officer pulled me over, walked up to the window, said "nice truck," with a big smile on his face, "watch your speed," and got back on his bike - even saw him give me a nod from my rearview mirror!

These cops were probably thinking, "I gotta get me one of those! Hmmm, I'm gonna pull this guy over just to check out the interior . . . " LOL

Anyways, I've been extremely fortunate, so I've got to control myself from now on - I've got to get a daily driver soon!

Mike

Mike,
Take it easy, dude. And don't jinx the rest of us!

So far, I've been lucky, they either see me just before or just after I do something stupid, but they don't see the something stupid.

Whew! Can you say "leading a charmed life"?

(haven't had a ticket in 19 years (currently knocking on wood, mahogony, the best I've got))
