Thumbs up As always a great time spent at JDM Engineering yesterday.....

Well I went to JDM yesterday to get my new setup dyno tuned. I install 60LB injectors, and installed the SCT MAF sensor. I also installed an NX nitrous system as well. First we had to do a new street tune for the new setup. I forgot my KB pulleys at home so I was stuck with a 3.25 upper on we were only seeing around 13-14PSI in the hot dyno bay. Still with the low boost we were able to get 564/601. A couple PSI should bring that torque number up quite a bit and a few more HP as well. This was also on 10-11* of timing.
Finally it was time for some spray. We install 75HP jets in the nozzle and kept the timing around 14*. Still with the same pulley combo we saw 684/746! Pretty damn impressive for such low boost. The power gains across the whole board versus the street tune are simply amazing. I am picking up over 140RWHP down low and still over 120RWHP at the top. This truck is gonna haul some serious butt at the track even on low boost like this.
I plan to go to the track on my birthday Sept 14th to do some testing. If I get even close to what Jim thinks the truck should run it will be the best present I could ever get. I will remember my pulleys too! If track conditions permit then maybe I will throw a little more boost at it. I can't wait!

Thanks again to the folks at JDM! It is always a pleasure to spend a day with you guys. -Mat-

Hey Mat great #s. Maybe I will be around to check out the runs. You going to test at Etown?
I hope to have mine back in the next couple of weeks and may chase your #s with a two stage nitrous setup over the winter,$$$ permitting.

I will be going up to Lebanon Valley in NY. No way will I fight with NYC traffic. May not get the best #'s at LVD but that is ok. If the track hooks it should be quite impressive. -Mat-

lol at least he doesnt say "but my brother makes more horsepower than me" just kidding. Mat how much boost did my Dad say you could add with the nitrous. Remember my dad went 10.1 with kevins truck on 14 psi and a 150 shot but his truck has the fuel system. Id leave a 75, dont go past 17 psi and see what she'll do. oh yea plenty of race fuel but you know

Hey *****, where the hell where you>?!?!?
He said basically if I am feeling ballzy I could throw the 2.75 on there! I don't think I will though. I will test her out with the 3.25 and if the track is hooking slap on the 3.0.

Mat,
Where do you get your bottle filled in CT? is there a site that lists filling stations around here?

Hey man,
I was at a buddy's house in Upstate NY for labor day weekend. I think it would be a good idea to stick with the 3.0 too, Im sure it will run a hell of a number like that anyways. Turn it up on JDM day, Chicken1 went 10.2 with a 75 shot and the 2.75 pulley..........

Ill be in Texas when you run the truck, call my cell with what happens, happy birthday to you and Bruce. Later

JimIII
