B&M tranny pan filter????

I have a new B&M tranny pan that came without a filter. Does anyone know where I can get one or if another filter will fit??

I wasn't sure about the 4X4 pan. Lightning Force sells a "hi-flow" filter for the B&M. Just wondering.

I got mine from Mark (LFP) about 3 years ago. It came with the filter required. It was the filter for the 4x4 4r100 deep pan.

update. I purchased both the standard Filter and the 4x4 filter.Installed the 4x4 ,and it hit bigtime. Couldn't even get the pan close to the tranny.I ended up cutting the pick-up tube until it cleared the bottom of the B&M.I then compared the modified 4x4 filter to the stock filter. Guess what? The were within 1/8 inch of one another. Conclusion: Get the standard 4r100 filter.

That's strange.

Yeah, We installed a Moroso pan for a fellow Lightning owner at the shop on Saturday. I ordered the 4x4 filter. It was a good thing I had a regular filter kicking around because the 4x4 filter hit the pan. So I guess both those pans take a standard filter. -Mat-
