Whats the deal with not contacting everyone that are interested in your filter kit, to me thats just bad business.............

 

Give him a break he works full time during the day and makes performance parts during the night. Read the posts he does good work. It takes time to make quality parts so try to understand if he doesnt get back to everyone.

I never talked to Sal on the phone one-on-one (although I did try many times), but he was always very prompt and complete when I emailed him. It was a pleasure doing business with him, and I plan on doing more in the future.

Sal has always been very cool and helpful to me even though I probably ask him a lot of irritating questions when I send him instant messages late at night Anyways you sure aren't gonna get good business from anyone with your attitude.

Folks, Get off SVT's ***. Sal cashed my check weeks before he shipped product, and dodged a couple phone calls and emails before I got a reply. IMO, poor business practice, especially when emails are like 2 minutes. It took a tad of a nasty note to get my reply.
You expect SVT to give Sal a break, well, where is your charity?

Sal is not K&N Inc, nor is he Superchip Inc, and if you want that kind of kiss-*** treatment, you should contact them for your products, and in the meantime don't ask for his free expertise on the 99.5. he is one guy working 2 jobs and while he is typing on the net, he is losing time making the kit or chip you ordered. he is the only ford tech on this list w/a 99.5 of his own that we can rely on,that can go out in his shop and give us an answer. if i was working the hours that he is, my nerves would be shot, and the last thing i would want to see while relaxing and surfing the net for messages, is snide remarks directed at me. DON'T **** HIM OFF! we are talking about filters and chips here, your truck still runs ( and pretty good, i might add) you won't get a lot of sympathy from the 4.2L guys. sorry for the rant

99.5Lightning.......I've talked to several people that have ordered Sal's Filter Kit and all of them said turn around time was pretty quick....maybe your order got caught during the time that he was changing vendors for the coating. I ordered one last week, and think I can live with the stock air box for another couple of weeks....the Turkey Rod Run in Daytona is still three weeks away.....any of you FL guys gonna be there????....later...

Twisted99......nope, bought it new in 95. Other than brakes and tires, it has been a great ride. There are still a few things that I like better in the 95 than the 99.5. (rear view mirrow, seats, sunvisors) however hands down the 99.5 is the winner performance wise....later.....
