I just got off the phone with borla and they said that part# 14872 is going to be shipped out next week and the price is $559.99 + shipping charges (approx. $20.00). They say that it will improve your horsepower and torque by 7-10%. Duals still exit from the side, but with a round tip within a tip. There number is 1-877-go-borla. Best of luck!!

7-10% ? I'm not sure we'll see gains that high..

 

Sal here. If all you are adding is a cat-back, don't be surprised if you don't see any gain. The cat back on the 99 Lightning, is the best flowing part of it's entire exhuast. If you want more power, go for headers and/or high flow cat pipe.

I don't know about 7-10% increase, but you will get about 300 more RPM at top of any gear with the RPM Muffler from Edlebrock. I had to increase rev limiter to 6500, it would fall off at 5700 before muffler and then tripped limiter after muffler when it was set at 6000 RPM. Kept my stock headers, header pipes and tail pipes. Cost all of $90.00 Cheap to me!
