Lightning colors
I talked to SVT today. They had the color breakdown for our Lightnings:
WHITE----866
RED-----1533
BLACK---1601
They (Matt) also said that it would be a good idea to fax in proof of ownership of our vehicles to verify, before they send out certificates.? Anyways, fax # is 313-271-6196. They should start sending them out in November.

did most of you have a choice on your color? i was told i only had 6 months to make up my mind (jan to july), my dealer ordered 2 of each color and ended up changing "all" to black as deposits were put down.

Yes i did order the fastest color. Ordered mine December 20th 98. I usually order the black color but looked at the numbers of past colors of older Lightnings and white was least produced. So ordered the first white vehicle of my life and glad i did.

I placed my order in August of 1998, with a deposit to hold it. You better believe I had a choice!

That's exactly 4000. I'm kind of suprised by it since some were pace trucks and used for marketing purposes.
