46K ebay lightning... LOL

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-...QQcmdZViewItem

472rwhp 520rwtq, jdm built motor

Too bad my stock block truck made 472/615

who wants to pay that much for something all those different shops built anyway, and not one cohesive effort?

LOL, he might get HALF that if he's lucky. There's not really a big market for built Lightnings. Heck, I had over 70k into mine, and barely got in the mid 30s for it.

I read that a couple of day's ago, i think there in for what's called the ol' "Rude Awakening"!!! I guess some people don't realize that no matter what you add or put on a vehicle after you buy it "DON'T MATTER", when it comes time to sell it. I'm sure it did cost a bunch of $$$ to fix it up, and get it in that shape. But like i said, that doesn't add squat to the book value of a vehicle. Actually in some cases it decreases the value of a vehicle by adding a bunch of aftermarket parts, that's why when you see guy's selling there modded Lightnings they'll usually end up parting out there mods to other owners. That way they don't take such a hit in there wallet, and they can get some of there $$ back for there mods instead of basically giving them away. And as we all know all us Lightning owners are like vultures when it comes to buying parts, i think someone should pass that info to those people.Because they'll never get what there asking for there Lightning, and another thing the miles on it being a 04 are a little high also.

yeah

that's is overpriced, however, i don't know about your areas but used lightning values have gone up. At the dealer the other day and they have 00 and 01's with 25k miles plus stickered at 28,900 and they aren't moving.

They sold sold a silver 02 with 18k miles of 29k last week.

They are hard to come by and people are paying it if they really want one.

but 46k??? No way.

That's about book value. The KBB on my truck when i refinanced it a few months ago was like 21k. 2000 with 18k miles on it.

So a 2 year newer truck with less miles on it..........when there's slim pickens and somone really wants to buy a truck off a dealer lot, 29k isn't that far fetched.

Dual solenoid line lock is over complicated and bit trouble if one solenoid fails to hold as well as the other ....

A copy of the “time-slip” will be immediately faxed to anyone seriously interested in our 2004 Lightning, which is presently one of the “quickest” in existence
LOL

Wow what a dreamer ....

Thats a very nice "truck." But I dont think its "worth" the "money" for it. He will have a "hard" time selling it at the "price." Unless some "dumb" old "rich" dude wants it. "hahaha" (if you dont get this read the trucks "description")

Best part is this.

"Shortly after Christmas, we added the basis STAGE II equipment, consisting of the “aftermarket” 6# pulley, twin blade electric fan, billet throttle body, cold air kit, long tube headers, and the complete MagnaFlow system, with stainless exhaust tips, exiting in the “stock” position. The truck was then “dynoed” by the installer, HP Performance in Middleburg, FL @ 383HP with approximately 420#s of torque."

If I put all those mods in with a superchip and only got 383/420 I would be pissed lol.
