Talking Borla - finally!

Well.....seems like all of the the bothering and e-mailing to Borla finally paid off. Apparently on their web-site, there is a part number for a Cat-Back system for our 1999.5 Lightnings that also comes with an air filter. Should be interesting. The part # is: 14872. The tips are angle cut round and of course use the side exit. I will place my order as soon as I find out how long it's going to be. I imagine that sometime in Feb, it will be available. Who knows! At least there is something in the works.....

I guess that no one was real interested in this....but hey...to each his/her own. I am going to place an order for this system on Monday and we shall see how long it takes. When I get it, I will post some pictures and install pics as well. I just want a bit of a meaner tone to the exhaust. I can't forsee it coming until the new year.

Don't worry PB, some of us read a great deal more than we post. I'd love to know what you think of your Borla set-up when you get it. (Especially if you have before and after Dyno numbers!) Does the exhaust have the intercooler tips? Man, I love those! I've got them on my Z28 and they look great!

Unhappy

I've tried calling and e mailing these guys for over a month now. Seems like no one is ever home. I've had Borla systems on several vehicles over the years and have been generally pleased. I hope their system for the Lightning is as good as promised.
