low trap speed

the last time i was at the track with my truck i only had a trap speed of 102.9 mph. at that time i had a jdm cold air kit,90mm maf,4lb/2.80 combo, magnaflow catback,3.73,ftvb and a psp street mail order tune. the truck was run on f1s, close to 1/2 tank of gas and nothing removed. race weight may have been high but the trap speed still seems low. anyone think the trap speed is low and maybe give me some advice on things to change or problems to look for. going to get a dyno tune soon because i keep burning up plugs so maybe that will help.

Weather everywhere is hot right now, and seems several of us (that would be me too) lately have reported poor MPH at the track. You will probably pick up 4 MPH in better air and a cooler motor.
