Question N.O.S.

Notice that some of you guys are running nitrous. Was told by N.O.S. that there wouldnt be any kit available until mid November. Im just dying to run some some juice, maybe someone could guide in the right direction.

NOS sold me the standard 5115 Mustang 5.0 kit with 80, 100, 125, & 150 hp jets. I have been very pleased w/the 80 hp jet and am reluctant to try any more right now. I still need to make a few runs at the track to verify the seat-o-the-pants meter and probably won't change anything till I do.

The solenoids were mounted high on the firewall, just to the right of the intake plenum. The jet was installed in the collar right behind the MAS, thru a drilled hole in the clamp/collar/housing. I had the bottle installed in the bed, and plumbed under the cab to the engine bay.

More as it develops....

Okay ****,

That's about enough of that. Now you're starting to give my itch to go the track some very insistant tendancies.

I have to be a good boy for a while longer so I don't re-injur my back. The Doc's already unhappy with me because I popped a couple of stitches (internally). If I make it worse, he may bench me for the rest of the year. Can't have that, now, can we?

I stop in this board cause a friend has a Lightning (A-Lightning). I noticed this post because I am the moderator of the N2O forum on www.fordvschevy.com. I was curious as to the mention of the 5115 kit used on the Lightning? Was this kit the standard 5115 or the 5115-2 with the in-line electric fuel pump? Also what LPH fuel pump does a Lightning have stock? Just curious and asking for future reference.
Thanks, Mad`

Hey Mad,

It is the standard 5115 kit. The fuel pump on the Lightning is, I believe, 155 gph. I know if I am wrong, someone will let me know...
