Jacobs DIS
Jacobs has a new distributorless ignition system for Ford vehicles, anyone know anything about it?

If it works as well as their marine system then I'd clear off some space on your parts shelf, that's where it will spend most of it's life! Lost 50 hp on the dyno on a 950 hp blower motor over the stock Mercury ignition.

The Lightning ignition system is COP (coil on plug) and currently there is not a DIS (read MSD)for this setup yet. MSD is working on one. So if it is a hotter ignition that you want call them.

Do not buy a Jacobs system. THEY SUCK !!! I had one on my 97 GMC fullsize and it slowed the truck down !
