Refinished my Radio Kit (PIC)

I wasn't digging the aluminum look so I bought some aircraft stripper, primered her up, and shot her with some black engine paint. It looks a lot better IMO, especially at night without the blue glow lighting the aluminum. Now all you see if the Lightning logo. Just thought I'd share in case anyone was going for that "blacked out look" on their dash.

The kits are from www.humount.com

Got a can of Aircraft Paint stripper from Autozone (supposedly you'rse supposed to acid-etch aluminum before you paint it)

2 coats of Auto Primer in a can

3 coats of High Temp Engine Paint (Semi-Gloss Black in my case)

Voila...
